Greenway Mobility Introduced E-Vi, Aims To Transform India’s Electric Three-Wheeler Market

As part of its aggressive expansion strategy, Greenway Mobility plans to establish over 100 dealerships across India by the end of this year.

Greenway Mobility, an Indian electric vehicle company, has launched E-Vi, a new venture set to transform India’s electric three-wheeler market by 2025.

Having said that, E-Vi will debut with two advanced electric vehicles – Chhota Otto and Chhota Bull – aiming for a market release in the fourth quarter of FY24. Alongside these, the company will introduce Rydan, a high-speed passenger electric rickshaw, to offer reliable and cost-effective green mobility solutions for both urban and rural India.

Priced competitively at Rs 2 lakh, the Chhota Otto and Chhota Bull set a new standard in the rapidly growing three-wheeler EV market. The vehicles are equipped with L5-grade components, offering exceptional durability and performance.

Greenway Mobility plans to establish over 100 dealerships across India by the end of this year. E-Vi’s vehicles are specifically designed and built for Indian road conditions.

Siddharth Patel, Founder of Greenway Mobility and an alumnus of IIT Bombay and Cornell University, explained the company’s vision: “We are establishing strategic industry collaboration to supplement this entire ecosystem to benefit the end use — addressing concerns like accessibility, nationwide service network, affordable financing options, swappable batteries and charging networks.”

Harsh Raval, Founder of Greenway Mobility, added, “Maintaining quality is of utmost importance to us and we are sourcing components from only the top Indian suppliers. With our growing portfolio of electric vehicles, we are shaping the future of mobility.”

The Chhota Otto features independent suspensions on all three wheels for better stability and comfort, plus foldable seats for cargo transport. The Chhota Bull is built for last-mile delivery in rugged terrain, with a 400kg payload capacity, hydraulic brakes, and IoT-enabled fleet management for real-time tracking.

Greenway will also launch Rydan, a high-speed electric rickshaw with advanced features like hydraulic disc brakes, multi-speed automatic transmission, and industry-first technologies. This rickshaw promises an extended range and better performance, perfect for India’s diverse transport needs.
